Feb 2008 – James Burke of ECO expressed interest of a wind turbine at Arkansas Wind Energy Conference in Fort Smith
9 May 2008 – Wind Site Assessment and Consultation on Site at Dunbar Garden Project
16 May 2008 – Report Printed and presented to ECO, Dunbar Garden Project, and the Sierra Club at Vino’s in Little Rock.
Between May and September – many phone calls, interconnection agreement, City of Little Rock Volunteers to perform installation, many donors
Mid September - Bolt Kit ordered
25 September 2008 – Bolt Kit Delivered
29 September 2008 – Southwest Windpower called and said the the company sent the wrong Bolt Kit. Southwest Windpower arranged for the return of the bolt kit, then a week or two later the correct Bolt Kit was delivered
November 2008 – Skystream 3.7 Wind Turbine, 45 ft. tower, Hinge Plate, and Gin Pole ordered expected Delivery mid December.
February 2009 – Due to the long tower delay, the One-piece monopole was offered at the same price as the segmented monopole later in February- Skystream, hinge plate, and gin pole delivered
March 2009 - Turbine, Ginpole, and hinge plate arrived at the site
April 2009 - Tower shipped
April 18, 2009 – Tower off loaded from truck at Dunbar Garden Center
June 3, 2009 – Skystream unveiled during a ceremony at the garden.
June 4, 2009 – Skystream and Tower raised and await inspection
July 2009 – Skystream gets a new meter and connected to the electrical grid and starts producing electricity ( on a special feedback meter for Entergy to measure the excess production of the turbine over what the garden needs. The electricity measured in excess will be purchased by Entergy Electric company at a premium price)
